About Amanda Kind

Amanda Kind is a singer, songwriter, actor, vocal coach and adjudicator based in Waterloo, Ontario. She has appeared in numerous musicals, as well as classical, jazz and pop concerts. Outside of performing, Amanda is also a sought-after vocal coach working with a broad range of clients including professional actors, aspiring young artists in many genres and rock bands.

Amanda has a passion for the emotional songwriting, visceral lyrics and dynamic rhythms of artists like Kelly Clarkson, Adele, Alanis Morrisette, Sarah McLachlan and Pat Benetar. Her 2011 album “hello heartache” blends elements of rock, R&B, folk, jazz, country and alternative all under a pop umbrella. The songs are a diverse mix of driving rock tunes and mysterious ballads with catchy hooks and tongue-in-cheek lyrics that appeal to Top-40 and alternative rock lovers alike
