Status/ Non-Status will perform Friday October 14.  

This performance is now located at The Broom Factory, 305 Rideau Street.

The decommissioned Kingston Penitentiary has hosted walking tours and film productions in recent years, but the future of the building is uncertain. Our hope is the space can be re-imagined for the arts and community building - a place that also provides opportunities for learning and collaboration. In partnership with The United Way and the John Howard Society, we're presenting a series of concerts that will assist artists, provide jobs for local arts workers, raise funds and awareness for local charities, and showcase how the space may be utilized for a broad range of the community as the conversation escalates on the future of KP.

This show will also provide information on local organizations that are working alongside the incarcerated (or formerly incarcerated) and their families to provide programs and education to all those affected by the criminal justice system.

“The Mattress Shop Series” is in partnership with the United Way of KFL&A, the John Howard Society.
