V.VECKER (notype)
Vancouver saxophonist & electronics artist V.Vecker creates meditation ambient dronescapes. He collects glassy saxophone breathes, slowly letting them stack, loop and blur into each other. Their refracted sound becomes a world of rhythmic wave patterns full of spectral swells and fading crashes. Rumbling bass notes bob in the background as eerie horn gestures mingle with wispy synth clouds. Ominous brooding electronic pulses feel ethereal yet menacing in this haunted world. V.Vecker holds the essence of ancient mechanical & the mutated organic in his music with uncomfortable balance. Minimalistic horn drone that is more than the sum of its parts.
DEATH KNEEL (soundcloud)
Max Klebanoff’s (Tomb Mold) industrial noise unit thrives on buried rhythmic nodes under walls of crackling distortion and blistering sonic disfigurement. Nascent hums blossom into spectral ambient drones. Gnarled electronic pulses waver in grand fields of dissonance. Granulated tones crumble and reform as the tracking adjusts on Death Kneel's harsh noise synthesized into meditative soundscape creation.
CETACEA (bandcamp)
Bryan W. Bray (Gates) solo guitar & synth project oscillates from harsh psych to ghostly drones. Caustic riffs laden with blistering dissonance rip through the fog of drone that coats Cetacea's sonic landscape. Singular held tones ring out over the thick aural web Bray has built until they finally give up & become trapped in the mesh. Curdled notes form languid snarling movements that envelope everything in their slow lumber. Like a snow that never ceases, but only changes direction in the swirling winds, Cetacea is an organic labyrinth to get lost in.
AIDA KHORSANDI (linktree)
Modular synth and experimental sound artist Aida Khorsandi patches into what feels like a proto-digital universe in some cybernetic sewer system. Synthesized gurgles call home with motorik dials. Glitched textures amplify through large piping. Mechanical bleeps & bloops meld with electronic drips, the sonic aftermath of power washing google's server farm and leaving it to air dry. Stretched notes swing like an oscillating fan. The sounds of patrolling the information superhighway.
