Alyssa DVM is an Ontario-based indie singer-songwriter from the Kitchener–Hamilton region whose music blends elements of folk, indie pop, and acoustic rock with a strong emphasis on personal storytelling. A student in Mohawk College’s music program, Alyssa developed her songwriting voice through a mix of formal training and live performances across Southern Ontario’s small-venue circuit. Releasing music under the name Alyssa DVM since the late 2010s, she has issued original singles and an EP that showcase reflective lyrics drawn from everyday experiences and relationships, delivered with a clear, expressive vocal style. Her performances typically feature acoustic guitar-driven arrangements supported by gentle pop melodies and emotionally direct songwriting. Alyssa has appeared on regional showcase lineups, including indie concert nights at Maxwell’s Concerts & Events in Waterloo, where she performs alongside other emerging artists. With a style rooted in honest narrative songwriting and intimate stage presence, Alyssa DVM continues to build a growing audience while developing her craft as a young independent musician.
