
Anya Alexeyeva is a Moscow-born concert pianist and chamber musician of remarkable skill and international renown, beginning her musical journey at the age of five at the Gnessin Music School and later studying under the legendary Dmitri Bashkirov at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory as well as the Royal College of Music in London, and over the years she has performed extensively across Europe, North America, South Africa, and beyond, collaborating with prestigious orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic and BBC Philharmonic and working under distinguished conductors like Valery Gergiev, Yuri Temirkanov, and Santtu-Matias Rouvali, while her repertoire spans from Baroque to contemporary works and includes both solo and chamber music performances; she is currently an active member of the Magisterra Soloists and part of the Magisterra Piano Trio with violinist Annette-Barbara Vogel and cellist Tom Landschoot, performing regularly in festivals, concert halls, and educational events, and she has also recorded extensively for labels such as EMI, Dutton Epoch, Toccata Classics, and Marquis Classics, earning acclaim for her technical precision, interpretive depth, and the expressive clarity she brings to every performance.
