Cam Kahin is a Toronto-based alternative/indie rock artist originally from Dunnville, Ontario, whose emotionally charged alt-punk sound has positioned him as one of Canada’s emerging young rock voices. Signed to Dine Alone Records and Schema Recordings, Kahin blends fuzzy garage-rock guitars, pop-punk urgency, and introspective songwriting that explores isolation, resilience, and early adulthood. His early releases, including the EPs LET IT SINK IN (2022) and WHEN IT’S ALL OVER (2023), featured tracks like “queen st,” “compass,” “what are you waiting for,” and “NINETEEN,” establishing his knack for hook-driven melodies layered over gritty, dynamic instrumentation. In 2026, he released his debut full-length album CHUG, a raw and personal project highlighting singles such as “where’d it all go wrong,” “break or bend,” and “come around.” Known for high-energy live performances across Ontario, including shows in Hamilton and Toronto, Kahin’s sound balances vulnerability with punchy, distorted guitar textures, reflecting both small-town roots and big-city ambition. With a growing streaming audience and national media recognition, he continues to build momentum within Canada’s modern alt-rock landscape.
