Dan Mangan is a Canadian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, born on April 28, 1983, in Smithers, British Columbia. He has won two Juno Awards and received three Polaris Music Prize nominations, building a reputation for his poetic lyrics, emotive vocals, and innovative indie-folk and arena-folk sound. Mangan has released five studio albums along with numerous EPs and singles, including Nice, Nice, Very Nice, More or Less, and Being Somewhere. Beyond music albums, he has composed for film and television, including projects for Netflix and AMC. He is married to Kirsten Slenning (2012) and continues to tour extensively across North America, Europe, and Australia, maintaining a strong presence in both live performance and digital platforms.
