Dane Ko is a Hong Kong-born Canadian pianist recognized for his versatility as a recitalist, chamber musician, and educator on international stages. A prizewinner of the 2023 Prix Ravel, Ko has performed extensively across Canada and abroad, captivating audiences with his expressive interpretations and technical precision. He studied at the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory of Music and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Music at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University. Ko collaborates frequently with leading musicians, including Berlin-based violinist Albert Steinberger, forming acclaimed duos that explore both classical repertoire and contemporary works. His performances span solo recitals, chamber music series, and special events, offering audiences thoughtfully curated programs that highlight both well-known masterpieces and underexplored gems.
