Their 2023 release Purity of Purpose highlights this approach with dense compositions that balance speed and clarity, while their 2025 album Ghosts of the Old Kingdom expands their sound into more atmospheric and thematic territory, incorporating melodic passages and cinematic transitions without losing intensity. Lyrically, Experiment Specimen focuses on science fiction, cosmic phenomena, and existential concepts, often framing their music around futuristic or otherworldly narratives.
