illScarlett is a Canadian rock and reggae band from Clarkson, Mississauga, Ontario, formed in 2001. Known for their energetic fusion of ska, punk, and reggae influences, they drew major inspiration from California band Sublime. The group gained attention in 2004 when they performed spontaneously for concertgoers waiting to enter the Vans Warped Tour in Barrie, Ontario, a move that helped launch their career. illScarlett's lineup includes Alex Norman (guitar), Will Marr (lead guitar), CJ Hinds, Justin Zoltek (bass), and Swavek Piorkowski (drums), and they have released multiple albums including ILLP (2004), Clearly in Another Fine Mess (2006), All Day With It (2007), 1UP! (2009), and their self-titled album illScarlett (2014). Known for catchy hooks and socially conscious lyrics, they have toured extensively across Canada and beyond, performing at major festivals and building a loyal fan base drawn to their infectious rhythms and high-energy live shows.
