Ken Whiteley is a distinguished Canadian multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer whose career spans over five decades in the folk, blues, gospel, and roots music traditions. Born in 1951, Whiteley began performing in the early 1970s and quickly became a fixture at festivals such as Mariposa Folk Festival, collaborating with legendary artists including children’s music icon Raffi. A versatile musician, he has mastered guitar, piano, banjo, and a variety of other instruments, while also establishing recording studios Casa Wroxton and Casa Rossmore to support his work and that of other artists. Whiteley’s discography spans albums like Join the Band, All of the Seasons, Long Time Travelling, and Acoustic Eclectic, showcasing his ability to traverse genres from jug band and swing to contemporary roots and gospel.
