
Nuha Yousuf is a Waterloo-based interdisciplinary artist, vocalist, and creative curator whose work bridges music performance, storytelling, and experimental multimedia presentation, and she is currently pursuing a Master of Music in Collaboration, Curation, and Creative Performance at Wilfrid Laurier University; active within Ontario’s contemporary and experimental music community, Yousuf has developed projects that explore themes of heritage, memory, and identity through performance, including the multidisciplinary work Of Mothers and Daughters, which blends music, narrative, and cultural storytelling to examine generational relationships and family histories; she has also been recognized for her curatorial contributions to the new music scene, earning the Emerging Curator award from NUMUS Concerts, a group dedicated to promoting innovative and experimental sound art and contemporary composition; through performances, collaborative productions, and curated events across Southern Ontario, Yousuf continues to develop a creative practice that connects classical training, community engagement, and contemporary artistic experimentation, while participating in concerts and showcase events such as Exit Points that highlight emerging musicians and interdisciplinary performers.
