Steel Panther is an American comedic glam metal band from Los Angeles, California. The band formed in 2000 under the name Metal Shop, later performing as Metal Skool, before officially adopting the name Steel Panther in 2008. Fronted by lead singer Michael Starr, the lineup also includes Stix Zadinia on drums, Lexxi Foxx on bass, and Russ Parrish on guitar. Known for blending virtuosic musicianship with parody and satire of 1980s glam metal, Steel Panther has released several albums, including Feel the Steel (2009), Balls Out (2011), All You Can Eat (2014), Lower the Bar (2017), Heavy Metal Rules (2019), and On the Prowl (2023). The band is renowned for high-energy live performances, humorous lyrics, and over-the-top stage personas, maintaining a devoted fan base worldwide.
