Toronto-based Vivienne Wilder's music has been described as lit-punk, bubblegrunge and anti-genre. With thoughtfully crafted lyrics, her voice veers from girlish to goblinesque as she explores the secret worlds of self-destruction, disappointment, and unrequited love. Backed by a dynamic band whose influences hail from the pantheons of 90s rock, 80s goth, free jazz, and Millennial Sadcore, fans of artists like Siouxsie Sioux, the Cure, Liz Phair, and Morphine will feel like they've just discovered their long lost punk half-sister.

Emilie Steele & The Deal are a grab bag of catchy hooks and toe tapping turnarounds, delivered with a spirited life force.

The band cut their teeth gigging around Kingston before releasing their 2019 eponymous EP of unabashed indie rock, colourfully animated retro ditties, and reaching alt-country rhymes.
