Professor Iannuzziello had a 16th year career with the Durham Regional Police where she worked with Victims Services and simultaneously earned her degree in psychology. After completing a two-year secondment at Durham College teaching their Police Foundations program, she accepted a full-time position from the Faculty of Social and Community Services. She earned her Master of Arts and is now the Police Foundations Field Placement Co-ordinater.
Professor Iannuzziello has a passionate understanding of how important and valuable student hands-on experience is. She will speak on student volunteerism in marginalized communities and how it will nurture and create positive relationships between our next generation of police officers and Durham Regions most vulnerable citizens.
