Alan has taken Scottish folk music all over the world since 1975. A member of Scotland's Battlefield Band starting 1969 he recorded almost 30 albums with them.

   Now solo, he delivers songs from his long career, the very best in modern & traditional Scottish folk music. His songs are noted for their storytelling element whilst being rooted in Scots folk tradition.
