The Unbridled Theatre Collective presents The Threepenny Opera, a 'Play with Music' by Bertolt Brecht, Kurt Weill and Elisabeth Hauptman in a new English Language adaptation by Simon Stephens. Brecht's timely satirical critique of capitalism takes us through London's criminal underworld where we are plunged into the underbelly of the Savoy Hotel, Grape Lane Brothel, and Peachum's Emporium for Beggars. A dynamic and bold ensemble of performers take on Weill's jazzy cabaret-style score including iconic favourites like 'Mack the Knife' and 'Pirate Jenny.'
