Green Light Arts brings you the World Premiere of WE COULD BE, an outdoor theatrical production Aug 16-18, 2021 & Aug 21-25, 2021 taking place at the Kitchener Market.

About the Show:

A group tries to save a beached whale… a climber wants to end the world… a woman swallows a microphone… a preacher struggles under the weight of it all… a man hopes to make you laugh… a woman celebrates...

WE COULD BE is a brand-new theatrical production from Green Light Arts commissioned from 5 exciting Waterloo Region Playwrights. Tied together by themes of hope and resilience, this cluster of playlets was created specifically for this moment; a recognition of where we are -- and where we could be. WE COULD BE is Green Light Arts’ first live, in-person theatrical production since the pandemic began.

Witness the Kitchener Farmer's Market transform into a theatrical venue for the evening! This production is FREE to the general public as a thank you to the community for coming back to the theatre.

THIS PRODUCTION IS SUITABLE FOR ALL AUDIENCES. CHILDREN ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND. RECOMMENDED FOR 11+ YEARS.

THE PERFORMANCE RUNNING TIME IS 75 MINUTES WITH NO INTERMISSION.
