Billy Talent is a Canadian rock band from Mississauga, Ontario, formed in 1993. The group consists of lead vocalist Benjamin Kowalewicz, guitarist Ian D'Sa, bassist Jonathan Gallant, and drummer Aaron Solowoniuk. Originally known as Pezz until 1999, they gained recognition for their energetic punk-infused rock sound and socially conscious lyrics. Billy Talent has released several acclaimed albums, including Billy Talent (2003), Billy Talent II (2006), Billy Talent III (2009), Dead Silence (2012), Afraid of Heights (2016), and Crisis of Faith (2022), as well as live recordings and special releases. The band is known for hits like "Red Flag," "Rusted from the Rain," and "Devil on My Shoulder," which have cemented their place in the Canadian rock scene.
