Corb Lund is a Canadian country and western singer-songwriter born on January 29, 1969, in Taber, Alberta. Raised on a ranch in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Lund began his musical career blending traditional country with elements of Western and outlaw music. He formed Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans, a band featuring Sean Burns on bass, Grant Siemens on guitar, and Lyle Molzan or Brady Valgardson on drums. Since his debut, Lund has released twelve albums, including three certified gold, with notable works such as Cabin Fever (2012) and Counterfeit Blues (2014). His songwriting often reflects rural life, ranching culture, and Alberta's history, earning him multiple Canadian Country Music Association and Juno Award nominations. Lund regularly tours across Canada, the United States, and Australia, building a reputation as one of Canada's most respected contemporary country artists.
