Great Lake Swimmers is a Canadian indie folk rock band originally from Wainfleet, Ontario, now based in Toronto, led by singer-songwriter Tony Dekker. Since forming in the early 2000s, the band has become known for its atmospheric, introspective sound, blending acoustic instruments with subtle orchestration and evocative lyrics. Their music spans over eight studio albums, including Bodies and Minds, Lost Channels, New Wild Everywhere, and the latest release, Caught Light, which showcases their signature ethereal style. Great Lake Swimmers has received critical acclaim, earning Juno nominations and a Polaris Prize shortlist, and they continue to tour extensively across Canada and internationally.
