NOBRO is a dynamic all-female Canadian garage punk band from Montreal, Quebec, known for their raw energy, unapologetic attitude, and high-octane performances that captivate audiences across Canada. Formed in 2014 by vocalist and bassist Kathryn McCaughey, guitarist and vocalist Marianna Florczyk, and drummer and vocalist Martha Rodriguez, the band has expanded to include members Karolane Carbonneau, Andy Silver, Josée Caron, and Tara Cohen, each adding to their fierce, tight-knit sound. Their music blends aggressive punk riffs with infectious hooks, delivering songs that are both intense and memorable, often exploring themes of empowerment, rebellion, and authenticity. NOBRO has released several acclaimed records, including Sick Hustle (2020), Live Your Truth Shred Some Gnar (2022), and Set Your Pussy Free (2023), the latter earning them a 2025 JUNO Award for Rock Album of the Year. Known for their electrifying live shows at venues like Toronto’s Horseshoe Tavern, London’s Rum Runners, and Guelph’s Sonic Hall, NOBRO continues to push the boundaries of punk music while celebrating female-led artistry, cultivating a growing fanbase drawn to their fearless spirit and uncompromising sound.
