The Festival City Big Band is a 17-piece band based in Stratford, Ontario that has been entertaining audiences since 1995. Led by Laurence Gauci, the evening will feature vocalists Cathy Whelan and Chris Adair. The music will lift your mood after the holidays, and make you want to dance. And there will be a space available for doing just that if the spirit moves you! Refreshments will be available at intermission.
As with all events presented by the Avondale Music Series, the proceeds from this concert will go toward the various ministries supported by Avondale United Church.
