A new museum experience is here!
Introducing "Vintage Picnic", a special picnic experience offered at Rose House Museum on Fridays in the summer!
Located in beautiful Waupoos, your 90-minute experience includes a private tour of the historic, early 1800s farmhouse, a demonstration of the traditional practice of weaving with Viktoria Brave, and a picnic basket of goodies for you and your plus one (or crew!).
Our picnic baskets are packed with local fare, including a mini charcuterie box for each participant, called "The Marysburgh Mini" curated by The Charcuterie Co.
Your picnic basket includes:
•"The Marysburgh Mini" charcuterie box: Two cheeses, two cured meats, crackers, seasonal produce jelly or mustard, nuts and a sweet treat.
•Soda from Mohawk Soda Company
•An additional sweet treat, and freshly brewed local coffee or tea. Tea is provided by Honey Pie Hives and Herbals.
The cost per person for this experience is $50.
Experiences can be booked starting at 10am, with the last booking of the day beginning at 230pm. Each experience is 90 minutes in length. This offering is available on Fridays from June 26th to August 28th (excluding July 10th).
To book please call 613.476.2148 ext. 2524 or email Cassandra at cwaldon@pecounty.on.ca
