Adopt a School Open House

Join Indigo Kitchener as we celebrate our partnership with Lincoln Heights Public School for our Adopt a School campaign! We have partnered with Lincoln Heights to gather donations for their classrooms and support literacy for every student. Come by the store on Saturday, September 26th to hear storytime readings from local authors, participate in fun activities, see toy demonstrations, meet cute characters, and, most importantly, support childhood literacy through donations to our adopted school.

• Join authors Amandra Amaral, Kasandra Coleman, Chloe Cronk, Jennifer Harris, Tanya Harvey, Heather Mast, Jen MacGregor, Alison McGauley, Tia McGraff, Ayodeji Olajide, Jenny Ohrling, and Newton Vanriel to talk about their books, have them signed, and listen to storytime readings (full schedule to be published on our Instagram page, @indigokitchener).
• Kick off the celebration at noon with Tia McGraff, who will be doing a live Songs'N'Tails performance.
• Discover your next read with Blind Date with a Book*.
• Enter special one-day-only raffles*! One free raffle ticket will be given per ticket scan, per customer.
• Have your face painted and your picture taken in our photobooth with fun props*.
• Build, play, and explore with toy demos and activity stations*.
• Bond with Indigo Kitchener employees when you see the beautiful crocheted stuffies, bookmarks, artwork, and more* they've created to support Lincoln Heights!

* All items, raffle tickets, and activities have an associated cost, with 100% of the proceeds going toward our adopted school.
