Innocente Brewing Company was a small craft brewery located in Waterloo, Ontario, known for its creative beers and community-focused atmosphere. Founded by Head Brewer Steve Innocente, the brewery brought a touch of Scottish brewing tradition to the region when it opened in 2014 after starting in Edinburgh. Innocente specialized in small-batch beers that combined craftsmanship with playful, daring flavors—described as "sinfully good" with hints of danger and devilish delight. Popular offerings included the Fling Golden Ale, noted for its floral and spicy palate and aromas of grapefruit and orange sorbet, as well as the Conscience IPA. Beyond brewing, Innocente fostered community engagement through tasting events, brewery tours, and social gatherings such as game nights. While the brewery cultivated a loyal local following and received high praise for both its beer quality and friendly atmosphere, it is now permanently closed.
