First opened in 1910, the Conservatory features five distinct greenhouse spaces, each showcasing unique plant life from around the world. After an extensive multi-year restoration, the iconic Palm House - also known as "The Dome" - has reopened, revealing its historic glass architecture and lush collection of tropical palms in renewed splendor. Visitors can explore the Arid House with its rare cacti and succulents, wander through the Tropical House with equatorial flora, admire orchids and bromeliads in the Southwest House, and enjoy koi ponds and seasonal flower shows in the Temperate House. The East Palm House also doubles as a venue for wedding ceremonies, photography, and cultural programming hosted by the Friends of Allan Gardens.
