About Scott McClelland Purveyor of Wonderment
Scott McClelland, a Purveyor of Wonderment, is a master showman whose career has been steeped in the world of mystery, spectacle, and the macabre. For nearly four decades, he has captivated audiences across Canada with his singular blend of theatrical storytelling, sideshow tradition, and gothic charm. The grandson of legendary magician Prof. N.P. Lewchuk, McClelland grew up surrounded by stagecraft, illusion, and carnival lore, which shaped his lifelong devotion to the strange and extraordinary. Under the persona of Nikolai Diablo, he created Carnival Diablo, a celebrated travelling Circus Sideshow that enthralled audiences for years with its daring feats and Victorian-inspired theatrics. Today, McClelland carries on his legacy at the Diablo Manor, an immersive theatrical dining experience where wonder and unease intertwine. Known for his commanding stage presence, dark wit, and artistry, Scott McClelland continues to craft unforgettable evenings of enchantment, inviting audiences to step beyond the ordinary into a world of curiosity and imagination.
