Sloan is a legendary Canadian rock band originally formed in Halifax, Nova Scotia in 1991 and now based in Toronto. Known for their melodic hooks, sharp songwriting, and democratic approach - where all four members write and sing their own songs - Sloan has become one of Canada's most enduring and influential rock acts. Over their career, the band has released thirteen full-length albums, earning multiple Juno Award nominations and widespread critical acclaim, while cultivating a fiercely loyal fan base. Their early breakthrough came with the release of Twice Removed (1994), often hailed as one of the greatest Canadian albums of all time, and they continued their legacy with hits like The Good in Everyone and The Rest of My Life. Balancing power-pop sensibilities with alternative rock grit, Sloan's music blends clever lyrics, harmonies, and guitar-driven energy. More than three decades on, they remain a cornerstone of Canada's indie and rock scenes.
