For the final event of Creative Industries Day, the Table Talks are your chance to connect with KCFF guests, industry pros, Queen’s alumni, key unions and organizations for practical advice on how to break into the Canadian film and media industry.
Join in casual discussions with dozens of top professionals from all corners of the creative industries, including directors, writers, cinematographers, actors, musicians, editors, critics and much more! This event is best suited to students, aspiring filmmakers, and local industry looking to connect.
Guests will be announced in the weeks to come, and all panel speakers are expected to participate. This event is free, but make sure that you register as there is limited space.
During the Table Talks, the adjacent INTERACTIVE SET will also be open to freely visit and speak with participating crew (no additional registration is required).
Experience an immersive behind-the-scenes look at filmmaking through an interactive film set tied to a recent training production shot at the Kingston Penitentiary. Visit various departments and talk to crew about their on-set roles, including the art department, camera, continuity, direction, editing, lighting, sound, special effects, wardrobe, and more!
Table Talk participants will be announced soon.
