See the Point Traverse Lighthouse... inside and out!
We start at the Prince Edward Point bird observatory with a brief slide presentation on the history of the lighthouse. Then we walk along the groomed nature trail for one kilometer to the iconic lighthouse. There, not only will you get a tour inside the lighthouse to see the building's structural details and original lightkeeper's domestic arrangements, but our guest presenters will give short talks on...
This is a unique opportunity to see the inside of one of Prince Edward County's most iconic lighthouses!
(Much of this event is outdoors and will be held rain or shine. The nature trail and lighthouse are NOT wheelchair accessible. No alcohol or cannabis permitted.)
