Fiona Campbell is a staff writer with Forbes Advisor Canada, as well as an experienced writer, editor, photographer and passionate storyteller with more than two decades of experience in journalism and communications.

She has written for national magazines and websites, covering everything from personal finance to nature, the environment, food and farming, the arts, and the people and places that make communities unique.

Many in the Quinte region will also know Fiona through her time with the Quinte Arts Council, where she first served as a board member before joining the staff as Director of Communications & Outreach.

A lifelong adventurer with a deep interest in the environment and social justice, Fiona’s travels have taken her around the world. An avid runner and hiker, she is happiest exploring the outdoors—whether close to home or trekking through places like Nevada and Utah.

Fiona holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from the University of King’s College, a BAA in Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), and an Honours BA in International Development from the University of Guelph.

Curious by nature, Fiona brings a keen eye for detail, a love of language and a genuine passion for telling stories that connect people to each other and the world around them.
